Website

After leaving customs, go down the stairs turn left, go all the way down to the end of the terminal and it is on the left side.

April 2010: This Taito electric machine in located on the 1st floor of Terminal 2 at Narita Airport (3rd floor is the floor with the check in and gates) and is located in the WAITING AREA IN THE DOMESTIC SECTION of the terminal. As you face the Main Gate on the 3rd floor, go to the far right, and down the escalator two floors. The waiting / smoking area has a number of vending machines, including the Taito token machine.

Taito machines feature three designs, are electric driven and the copper slug is provided by the machine as part of the pressing process. The tokens have a proof-like finish and are very attractive, with great detail. Cost is 100 yen per token. When the 100 yen coin is inserted, the slug is dropped in place, and the A, B, C selection domes light up. When you make your selection by pressing a dome, the dome light blinks until the pressing is completed. The completed token drops into the chute for pick up. Most of the Taito machines have a half-circle plastic sign on the top of the machine...very attractive. Some locations have cloth banners hanging next to the machine featuring the tokens and price. Some machines have additional graphics posted on the side of the machine. The Taito machines have a stainless steel panel on the front of the machine where you can press your token to flatten out the curve. These machines appear to be very reliable....pressing well and centered.
