Casa Batlló is a fantastical, curving dragon-roofed apartment block that is now a museum. In 1903 the building was purchased by Mr Josep Batlló y Casanovas who granted full creative freedom to Antoni Gaudí for a remodel. At present, Casa Batlló is a UNESCO World Heritage site and an icon in Barcelona, a must see for those who want to discover Gaudí’s work and modernism at its finest. It is also one of the most highly rated cultural and tourist attractions, welcoming 1 million visitors every year.
Hours of operation: Monday through Sunday 09.00 (9:00 am) to 22.00 (10:00 pm). Paid parking nearby.
Admission: 29€, 65 years and older 26€, Between 13 and 17 years old (accompanied by adult) Between 13 and 17 years old (up to 15, accompanied by adult) 26€, Up to 12 years old (accompanied by adult) Free. You can enter the ground floor gift store for free.
There are four machines total with two designs. There is a Simbolic gift store on the 3rd level and on the ground level with two single design machines in each gift store: the two designs are identical on the 3rd level as the designs on the ground floor. To access the 3rd level gift store you must pay admission. You can enter the ground floor gift store without paying admission.
