Leopold's Ice Cream is a historic family-owned ice cream parlor, founded in 1919, famous for its unique handcrafted flavors like Tutti Frutti. Made with secret family recipes, natural ingredients, and old-fashioned soda fountain treats, it serves as a beloved local landmark featured on national TV. It's known for its creamy, flavorful ice cream, nostalgic atmosphere and Hollywood connections that offers a classic Savannah experience.
Hours of operation: Sunday through Thursday 12:00 pm (Noon) to 9:00 pm, Friday and Saturday 11:00 am to 10:00 pm.
Admission: Admission: Free admission. Machine located in the back and you can just use the other door to get into the sitting area of the ice cream place if don't want to wait in line for any ice cream. Plenty of metered parking in front.
Machine 1 is on the side of the shop where the seating area is, not the ice cream counter. Employee said it has been there for years. Cost to press: 51¢ each design. Designs all have a beaded border with 'Leopold's Ice Cream':
