Translated into English it means “St Mary's Church in the hollow of white hazel near a rapid whirlpool and St Tysilio’s church near the Red Cave”.

The design was: "Llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyrndrobwllllantyssiliogogogoch" written on it. with a stylized lion.
