This Copper Memories Machine is right at the entrance. It has 4 penny options. The Gift Shop also sells a lot of penny collector books and souvenirs for a great price.
Machine is in Foyer of Gift Shop/Entrance so you don't have to pay admission to use the machine. All have 'Fort Gaines Dauphin Island, AL' (Or Alabama) 0n them. Designs are:
1) Image of Fort,
2) '32 Pounder', Fort mounted cannon,
3) 'USS Hartford', Anchor,
4) Hammer and anvil.
The Generic Souvenir Penny Collecting Book (Available in the Gift Shop for $2.00) is now RED with an American Flag and holds 36 Elongated Pennies. Part of the proceeds from this machine helps to keep this Historical Site Funded.
