Lambert’s Cafe

LAMBERT'S CAFE is located in beautiful Foley, Alabama., eight miles north of Gulf Shores. This cafe is located next to a factory outlet mall and a wide variety of places to visit. One of the greatest attention grabbers at the cafe is the fact that the BEACH is located no more than eight miles away.

There is one machine in the gift shop and one in the room as you are leaving (this door is locked from outside, you must go through the restaurant to get to this room). Cost per roll is 51 cents and you use your own coin. You can collect 8 different pennies in all. Penny booklets there are 6.99 plus tax.

Machine 3: (2016) All have 'Lambert's Café Foley, Alabama' (Or 'AL') on them. Designs are:
1) ' EST 1942', Logo with large bowtie
2) Logo with smaller bowtie
3) United States Flag,
4) Waiter holding platter of muffins, throwing one with words "Lambert's Cafe, Foley AL"

Retired 2 Designs: All are two-side "mule" designs and include "FOLEY AL, throwedrolls.com" on the reverse. 1) Mascot throwing rolls, 2) Restaurant, 3) Home of the Throwed Rolls.

3/28/25 Pressed all 4 designs in machine 3 and they all pressed great. Sign is still posted as noted above but I had no issues with either design. TLR

9/2/2026: Was told both machines are out of order. Found one machine in the outside gift shop that was buried under things with an out of order sign on it. - AE
