The Machine is in the gift shop of Portage Lake - Portage Glacier. The Lake is located between Anchorage and Whittier AK in the Chugach National Forest.

It is just approximately 5 miles south of the wildlife conservation center. Both of which are just south or Portage. Hence you'll drive through clear Portage before coming to them if coming from Anchorage.

There are 4 horizontal dies that are "mules" with 'Chugach National Forest' on the front and 'Begich, Boggs Visitor Center' on the back. Designs are:
1) 'Be Safe With Fire', Smokey's head,
2) 'Portage Lake', Image of lake and area,
3) 'Watchable Wildlife', Bear,
4) 'Woodsy Owl', Owl in costume

6/13/25: The mechanism is a bit gummy but still works. The front desk workers can make change if you need it. DS
