Located in the prestigious Episcopal Palace of Verdun, the World Center for Peace, Freedoms and Human Rights is a place of exhibitions and events that allow visitors to the 14-18 memorial sites a real perspective of history: the one that leads to the chain of 3 wars, two of which are world wars, and the one that allows France and Germany to maintain peace.

Hours of operation: Monday through Friday 10.00 (10:00 am) to 12.00 ?(12:00 pm) then 14.00 (2:00 pm) to 18.00 (6:00 pm). Closed Saturday and Sunday. The shop and garden of the World Peace Center will be closed from December 20, 2025 to January 11, 2026.

Admission: €22; varies by exhibition. The garden is accessible free of charge during the opening hours of the shop. You might be able to access the machine without paying if you ask nicely.
There are various paid parking lots surrounding the Palace.

Machine 1 is in the checkout room / reception to the left of the exit door to the garden. Operates with 1€ + 5cent coins per design. Designs all have a beaded border with 'Verdun':
