The Cité des Climats et Vins de Bourgogne is a network of three immersive cultural centers in Chablis, Beaune, and Mâcon, designed to reveal the unique world of Burgundy wines, its terroirs (Climats/Climate), viticulture, and winemaking through sensory, educational, and interactive experiences for all ages, featuring trails, workshops, tastings, and family-friendly activities.
Hours of operation: Monday through Sunday all year. January 1st to March 31st 10.00 (10:00 am) to 17.00 (5:00 pm)
April 1 to May 30 10.00 (10:00 am) to 18.00 (6:00 pm)
June 1st to September 30th 10.00 (10:00 am) to 19.00 (7:00 pm)
October 1 to November 30 10.00 (10:00 am) to 18.00 (6:00 pm)

Admission: You do not have to pay admission to access the machine. Free access to the Gift shop, the Discovery Bar and the area devoted to wine tourism advice. Cost to access the Visitors Trail (The immersive visitor trail includes a tasting of wines or fruit juices): Adults €14.50, Young person (6-17 years) €7.50, Child under 6 years old are free.

Machine 1 is a Euroscope dual function machine that presses euro cents OR dispenses a token.
Machine 1 (Eurocent) (Placed 9/2024) is in the entry foyer. Cost to press: €2 each design (A 2€ coin or two 1€ coins only Machine does not give change). The "penny" will be pressed on a supplied 5 Euro cent. When you insert the coins into the slot for the "penny", wait 5 seconds for the supplied 5 Euro cent to drop into place before cranking the handle. Designs all have a beaded border with 'Cité des Climats et Vins de Bourgogne'.
