The Pacific Aviation Museum is located on Ford Island, located in the middle of Pearl Harbor, Hawaii. The 6M2 Zero painted as one of the Pearl Harbor attackers. The Museum site occupies 16 acres of the 440-acre island. It includes three historic hangars and an air traffic control tower.
On December 7, 2006, the first of four planned phases of the Museum, Hangar 37, opened to the public. The hangar's 42,442 square feet of space focuses on the attack on Pearl Harbor through the Battle of Guadalcanal and includes a display of Jimmy Doolittle's bomber raid on Tokyo, Japan. Future phases of the museum will be built in other nearby hangars and focus on the Korean War, Vietnam War, and Cold War.

The museum is on Ford Island. To get there, you have to take the shuttle bus (unless you have military access). The shuttle comes every 10-15 minutes and takes 10-15 minutes to get from the main Pearl Harbor visitor's center to the USS Missouri, then 5 minutes to the Pacific Aviation Museum, then 10-15 minutes back to the visitor's center.
Parking at the main visitor's center is free.

The gift shop is right inside the front entrance of the museum where the shuttle bus drop off is. You do not need to pay admission to access the machine/gift shop, but there is a $3 shuttle bus fee if you don't buy tickets this museum or the USS Missouri.
