The Science Center has hundreds of interactive exhibits that stimulate the mind and teach about science, and that's only inside the main building. Outside there's a park where visitors can observe Kansas wildlife in a wetlands habitat and dig for archeological treasures inside a giant sandbox. There is also a Planetarium and a learning center.

Machine is just past the admission desk in front of the gift shop next to a column. Cost 2 quarters and a penny.

Machine 2 all have, 'Exploration Place, Wichita, Kansas' on them. designs are:
1) 'Explore', Name in middle with Buffalo over right,
2) Logo,
3) 'Design Built' Fly', Front of plane with propeller logo,
4) Image of building.

Retired 1: 1) Building over Name, City and State, 2) 'Inquire, Express, Imagine, Design', 3) Bird flying up toward Name, 4) Tornado on the ground

7/03/2026- Rolling fine but very noisy - they made change to give us quarters. They also had keychain and magnet pressed penny holders. All designs and price same at 51cents
