For those who are visiting Melaka, Jonker Walk/Street is a must visit place to shop, walk around, eat and take in the city’s heritage views. Among the many attractions available in this area, the Mamee Jonker House is probably the one of the more interesting ones where you can spend a few hours in.
The Mamee Jonker House is suitable for people of all ages. Adults like me will want to take a walk down the memory lane to learn more about this dearest childhood snack. As for the kids, they will definitely enjoy the workshops. It operates from two adjoining shophouses that still retain their original characteristics despite having gone through years of refurbishment and strengthening of structures.
