Stone Zoo is a medium-small sized zoo of about 26 acres in Stoneham, by the Spot Pond reservoir. It is operated by Zoo New England, which also operates the Franklin Park Zoo in Boston.
Machine 1: 3-die electric next to the jaguar exhibit. All say “Stone Zoo.”
1) (H) Leopard (replaced a polar bear design),
2) (H) Otter,
3) (V) Wolf (replaced a flamingo design).
Machine 3, Pennycollector 4 design added May 2012. Near the gift shop at the entrance/exit. All say “Stone Zoo.”
1) (V) Gibbon,
2) (H) Snow Leopard,
3) (V) River Otter,
4) (H) Wolf.
Machine 4 by the sloth exhibit. All say “Stone Zoo”
1) Reindeer,
2) Sloth,
3) Black Bear.
Retired 2: All say "Stone Zoo": 1) (H) Peacock, 2) (H) River Otter, 3) (H) Snow Leopard, 4) (V) Lemur.
3/11/26: Machine 4 by the Sloth machine was functioning again.
08/30/26 Machine 1 had an out of order sign on it, but I tried it anyways and all 3 designs worked perfectly. The other 2 machines were working fine as well
