You can reach the penny press without paying for admission if you ask at the admissions desk; they just ask that you don't linger in the exhibits if you got in for free.
The museum has exhibits of firefighting equipment dating back to the 1600s, and is well worth the $10 admission price. jnm Open from 12 to 4 pm. Thursdays to Sundays.6/13/25 Machine presses well on pre 82 pennies. Limited parking on premises, 3 spots only. You can park on the street though. Nice museum, they don't sell penny passports.
