There is a different machine, Machine 3, instead with the following pictures; Mackinac bridge, grand hotel, tandem bicycle.
Machines are located in the center of the barn. No one working there seems to know anything about them.

10/8/2026 The gift shop where the penny machines are located closes sometime in September, the web site says the museum ( the barn ) closes in October but that's not the Gift Shop and there are no penny machines in the museum ( the barn ). Before you take an expensive ferry trip to Mackinaw Island confirm whether or not they are actually open.

10/12/2026 If your going here prepare for an up hill walk. The gift shop is actually higher up on the island than the Grand Hotel and is about three quarters of a mile from the closest ferry dock.
