The Scheveningen Pier is a pleasure pier that opened in 1961, the current pier is the second in the town, the first being lost just after, and as a result of, the Second World War. Since its re-opening on 18 July 2015, you will find a quality range of street food concepts, restaurants, bars, innovative shops, a Ferris Wheel, a bungee jumping tower and luxurious Suites. You can also enjoy year round festivals, cultural events, several markets and musical performances.
Hours of operation: Monday through Sunday 10.00 (10:00 am) to 22.00 (10:00 pm). The exterior gates at the entry to The Pier can be accessed after hours via a hotel key card if you are staying at the Pier Suites.
Admission: Free admission.
Machine 2 is outside at the top of the front entry stairs on the second level. Cost to press: €1.05 each design (€1 coin and a 5 Euro cent coin). Designs:
