From history came a modern museum on one of the most beautiful places in the Netherlands. Between hills and forests, the past is brought to life in the Liberation Museum, southeast of Nijmegen and Arnhem. In the museum to make the run-up to war with, you experience the occupation, you celebrate Liberation and you can see the reconstruction of the Netherlands and Europe. By using smells, interactive presentations, dioramas, models, original movies and sound clips liberation is depicted captivatingly. The museum shows both young and old the current meaning of democracy, freedom and human rights.
Besides the visit to the permanent exhibition, we have nice group packages, events, temporary exhibitions, special programs for Primary and Secondary Education and the vocational and higher education and can be visited the exciting Bandritzer.
