Downtown Las Vegas / Neonopolis – Gene Woods Racing “DRIFT” Exper

Opened in 2019, Gene Woods wanted to provide a unique and exciting way for the public to participate in the exciting "Drift Racing" experience. The purpose build drift track is different than any other Go Kart Track. Drift the corners and race from green flag to checkered flag with 15 heart pounding laps. Winner is presented with a trophy at the end. Family fun like no other. Located in the Gene Woods Racing "DRIFT" Experience at Fremont Street, the Hot Shoe Hall of Fame's mission is to recognize the cream of the crop of Flat Track and Speedway Racers that used a very specialized tool, their steel shoe, to help them navigate dirt track corners at very high rates of speed. Steel shoe equipped racers quickly became known as "Hot Shoes" in the local and national events and markets where they participated. The Hot Shoe Hall of Fame pays homage to these daredevil racers and their colorful careers and accomplishments.

Hours of operation: Monday through Sunday 12:00 pm (Noon) to 12:00 am (Midnight). You do not have to pay admission to access the machine.
Parking is best accessible from the Neonopolis parking garage which is in the basement below Gene Woods Racing. First Hour: $3.00, Additional Hours: $2.00, Daily Max: $9.00.

This suite is inside Neonopolis on the north side of the courtyard ground floor. Neonopolis is the open court, two-story building bounded by Las Vegas Boulevard North, Fremont Street, The beginning of the Slotzilla zip line is in front of Neonopolis on Fremont Street.

Machine 1 is inside, past the cashier, on the left side. Cost to press: 51¢ each design. Uses your own quarters and pennies.
