Imagination Station is Toledo’s hands-on science center on the downtown riverfront. The center provides a critical layer of science enrichment by serving as an educational partner for teachers, schools and parents. It’s with a thoughtful blend of hundreds of hands-on exhibits, experiences, education and excitement that Imagination Station is inspiring future generations of STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) careers in northwest Ohio.
The penny machine is located along the left wall, just past the ticket counter at the main entrance. It is a four-die, hand-cranked, Lexan model. The penny designs are from the 2009 rebranding when the center re-opened as Imagination Station (formerly Toledo COSI and Toledo Science Center).
Designs:
1) Gizmo the science mascot
2) Boyo (human body Yoyo)
3) "I'm an XTREME Scientist" over flames
4) "Hurricane Chamber" over a whirlpool
Rear- "Imagination Station'.
