Ohio Turnpike @ Erie Islands (mile 100 westbound)

All the Ohio Turnpike machines cost $1, take only paper dollars (no coins), and dispense their own shiny zinc pennies. The dispenser is visible through the plexiglass case so you can confirm whether they are still loading new coins.

Machines is still in the same area with the arcade games.

Machine 4 (2017) $1 each. Designs are:
1) Put N Bay Celebrate Island Style
2) Put N Bay Ohio International Peace
3) Cedar Point Sandusky Ohio
4) Cleveland Indians

Put N Bay celebrate island style doesn’t print. Instead gives you a half printed cedar point.

1/17: New $1 Zinc Machine 4 (2017) installed here.

11/19/22: All the Ohio Turnpike machines cost $1, take only paper dollars (no coins), and dispense their own shiny zinc pennies, the design is cutting off the design on the right side, possibly not centered

7/30/26: This machine - like others along the turnpike - has trouble accepting new dollar bills now. Like the others, it rolls short (but not as off-center as it used to). These turnpike machines are also the slowest penny presses I have ever encountered, taking a full minute to roll each coin. You risk family peace if you want to roll multiple sets. jnm
