October 4, 2024. This machine is very finnicky. Only the bust and telescope worked.
When I told the attendant in the gift shop about the machine, he opened the machine and hand fed the penny into the the press. He insisted that I post that, if the gift shop is not swamped with customers, he'll always open up the machine to hand feed the press.
He also stated that they cannot find anyone to fix the machine.
The penny machine is rolling well centered excellent images slightly short on 95% copper pre-1982 pennies. MWHTH

10/06/26 The first one I did was the memorial which rolled fine. The telescope and dinosaur went straight through and didn't roll. Everyone at the gift shop was wonderful and had some spares to reimburse. They did note that someone reported an issue over the weekend so maybe this is still just finnicky. -JAW
