The Sanctuary of Our Lady of Nazaré is a Marian shrine that memorializes an ancient miracle that occurred under the intercession of the Virgin Mary. It is located on the hilltop called O Sítio, overlooking Nazaré, in Portugal, and was founded in the 14th century.
Hours of operation: Monday through Sunday 09.00 (9:00 am) to 18.00 (6:00 pm). No public parking nearby.
Admission: Free admission to the gift shop and entrance.
Machine 1 is outside in front of the gift shop on nice days or inside the gift shop. Cost to press: €1.05 each design (€1 coin and a 5 Euro cent coin). Designs all have a beaded border:
1. (V) Mary of Nazareth with 'Nossa Senhora Da Nazara'.
2. (H) Nazareth Sanctuary with 'Santuario Nazare'.
3. (V) Pictorial of the Virgin Mary intercession with 'Milagre Nossa Nazare'.
