Busan Tower is a 118 meter high (nearly 400 feet) tower at Yongdusan Park, located in Jung-gu, Busan. It was built in 1973 and it's only used for entertainment purposes and doesn't have any transmitting equipment which sets the tower apart from many other towers with observation decks primarily built as TV and radio towers. The deck features panoramic view and a small cafe, it's only accessible during working hours via two high-speed elevators. The base of the tower is interconnected with a few galleries and souvenir shops. The tower is usually mentioned in tourist guides as a good place to get a view of the city's port.

Admission (2019) is Adult 8,000 won / Children (ages 3-12) 6,000 won.

Machine 2 (2023) is in the shop where you can pick up photos that you purchased on the 2nd floor (moved from prior location) Admission is required. Costs 2,000 won per press on a blank (copper?) planchet. Machine is a 4 design (labeled 1-4 on selector) hand crank machine and takes credit card only.

Machine 2 designs are:
1) Busan tower logo and says "Busan Tower" in English,
2) Busan tower above pagoda and flowers,
3) Busan skyline with tower, bridge, and boat says "Busan Tower" in English,
4) Says "Busan" with skyline and says

Retired 1: 1) Tower with clouds and buildings around base, Park & tower name under, 2) Same as #1 except Korean writing under Tower and Park name, 3) 'Museum of Musical Instruments of the World', Logo, 4) Image of tower with Korean writing (Probably Tower name) on left and tower name in English on right.

6 April 2019 - Machine 1 not found.
Machine 2 rolling beautifully, except for design 3 rolls short, and attempt to adjust didn't work. Employees not super familiar with pressed pennies concept.
Fun hike from train station to the tower with pleasant view. -AJK, TEC#5075

3/03/26: Machine is not pressing correctly. It presses off-centered and you have to find a sweet spot between the red arrows for it to print decently.
