Teddy’s Souvenir Shop

This location has been a gift shop since it opened in the 19th century. Teddy's has been in business since 1971. They currently sell clocks, cow bells, hats, music boxes, knives, post cards, dishes, and other assorted gifts. The store is located across the street from the Wasserkirche (Water Church) and between the Limmat river and the Grossmünster (Great minster).

Hours of operation: Monday through Friday 08.30 (8:30 am) to 20.00 (8:00 pm), Saturday 08.30 (8:30 am) to 19.00 (7:00 pm), Sunday 10.00 (10:00 am) to 17.00 (5:00 pm) April through October. Hours may vary outside of these months.

Machine 2 is a dual penny/token machine encased in the same machine located outside in front of the store. Cost to press each design: One 2 franc (CHf) coin OR one 2 Euro coin on a 20 Rappen (0.20 CHF) coin OR a 5 Euro cent coin. Designs all have a beaded border with 'Zurich':
1. (H) View of the city, lake and mountains with 'The Heart of Switzerland'.
2. (V) Grossmünster church with 'Grossmünster'.
3. (H) Fraumünster and Grossmünster churches with "Gruss Aus Zürich' (Greetings from Zurich).

Token Machine 1 is a dual penny/token machine encased in the same machine located outside in front of the store. Cost to press token: One 2 franc (CHf) coin and one 1 franc (CHf) coin for a total of 3 CHf (This coin slide may not accept Euro coins) 1) Grossmünster, Fraumünster and St. Peter churches along the Limmat river with 'Zürich' / Rear - Dutch windmill, Eiffel tower, London Eye, Matterhorn, Milan Duomo and Atomium with 'Europe Memodaille® Collection' surrounded by 14 stars.

September 13, 2023. I pressed the 3 coin designs on both Swiss 20 Rappen and 5 Euro cent pieces. All are rolling well centered excellent images. The designs on the Euro cents have slightly longer tails. The token is of great quality. MWHTH

July 4, 2024- machine works well -NV

2nd July 2026 - machine still outside of shop when open and all designs work. Is only available during shop hours and is taken inside overnight at 8pm when the shop closes at 8pm.
