Gone1 machine

This machine is no longer here. The listing stays up because collectors come back years later to check whether the one they remember was real.

From collectors

3/4/22: According to local news, this location is going to be permanently closed and the space will be sublet out, despite the website saying the closure is temporary. See: https://t.co/vEgjm3Piis (Headline is 'Madame Tussaud's shutters in D.C. after 14 years')

Madame Tussauds was founded by wax sculptor Marie Tussaud and was formerly known as "Madame Tussaud's", but the apostrophe is no longer used (though it still appears in some signage at the New York location). It is a major tourist attraction displaying waxworks of historical persons, film stars, sports stars and famous murderers.

Pennies were $1.01 each. Designs were: 1) 'John F, Kennedy', bust,
2) 'Bill Clinton', bust
3) 'Barack Obama
4) 'Madame Tussauds'[, building

The machine was newly placed here on 10/10.

08/25/2021: currently closed for COVID, no news on when they are reopening.
